I agree :-) Also, a lot of us live in apartments and soldering and painting is a no, no...

Couldn't you get away with a bit of soldering, with the window open? It's not actually that messy, although there's always scope for things to go very wrong!
I am guessing you're talking about rented accommodation where dropping a 400 degree soldering iron onto the carpet would wipe out your bond?

It does seem a rather hefty decrease in Aus.Dollars compared to USD- I can see that puts a lid on many fun things as it has here too :(

Yes I can see the Lucyboxes and those are pretty- I have no idea what they cost though?
Also what a Donnerbox would cost is for Don to answer.

If possible I'd like to make this project fun for everyone and hopefully provide solutions also for boxes.

Have fun

I'm not complaining about prices or the exchange rate, I will get some parts here in Aus and some "special" parts from USA.
Parts are not that expensive really, and given the calculated amount of parts for that Folk Fuzz, we're going to end up with VERY
inexpensive Folk Fuzzes (not exactly the same as FF but close).

I was just looking for the easy way out! A nice box and all the parts needed to finish the project.
But the easy way out is a little bit too expensive in the current circumstances, I should just not be lazy and do it myself! :D
