FOLK FUZZ KITS SOLD OUT

Postby jfromel » Sat Oct 04, 2008 1:59 pm

There are actually 3 boards that are MIA and numbers 1 and 2 are still here. 2 of the boards got lost in the mail or someone got an extra shipment, and #4 has gone AWOL.

If there is enough interest I will do another run but change up the board a bit to accept Can type (Germanium) trannies!!!!.

On a side note I am testing some germainuim trannies and may be able to offer them for the next run of kits if there is enough interest.

You sold me number 4 when you said it was up for grabs.

Then there is another one that is AWOL, I have all 3 of your boards accounted for.

So you have 2 number 4s? Kind of defeats the point of serial numbers.

There are not two number 4's, there is a board that is Awol and I don't know which number it is. There were exactly 102 boards, 100 of them are numbered and the other two I built as test units, one is germanium and the other is silicon, both sound great by the way.

I bet they do, I do not have a case for mine yet it is on a piece of cardboard but it sounds killer using the kit you provided me.

I would love to give this a try. I used to be an electronics nerd, and my dad was in electronics his whole life, we used to build heathkits together.

I have never built an effects pedal.....yet!

Hi,

I doubt that there will be anymore of those pcb's printed as that is always batch related and it costs about as much to print one as it costs to print 100 or even 1000.

Maybe there is one or two that has more pcb's on hand than they need and this I do not profess to know but if so in house movement of unsued pcb's would be cool in my book if that pleases

Have fun

I'm very very late to this party -- but if there are any leftover boards I'd buy one, maybe someone has an extra, or didn't get around to building it, etc. At any rate, I'm down for the next project!
