I used mine at church today and it's a great low gain overdrive. I used a Suhr strat and set the gain at 3:00 into a Maz 18. I could get clean to simi broken up to pretty fuzzy od (but not what I'd call fuzz) all just by picking dymanics. (to be honest, it reminds me of the Honey Bee) A very non compressed pedal even with the one led switched into the circut. I'm happy with everything about this whole thing, getting a cool pedal, topped off by the fact it's a BJFE design and I put it together. A huge thank you to Bjorn, Nick, jformel and DonneR for making this happen and Corksniffer for the trouble shooting during my build. If I missed anyone else I'm sorry and if I did someone please point that out to me as I would like to include them as well.
I'm now on the lookout for a germanium tranistor to try in T2 now.

OK. I've ordered all of my pots, switches, etc.
I understand where to put the parts from the kit into the board but do not understand how to wire the mechanical parts.
I am not clear how to wire the pots, jacks, switches, etc to the pcb.
Can someone please post a detailed and specific explanation? I think it would help many of us.

Kind of a long shot here, but I'm wondering if anyone picked up an extra board/kit that they would be willing to part with.
Jumping in late, but it would be sweet to get to solder one up.

I thought that I read that a resistor is not necessary for the on/off led. Is that correct?

When you look at a pot as installed in the enclosure with the lugs facing towards you, the lugs are numbered 3, 2, 1 from left to right. Just match up those lugs to the right lug number on the PCB.
With the SPDT switch youll only have three lugs. The middle lug has to go to the middle pad for the switch but the other two lugs can be connected to either side because the switch is just choosing between one connection or the other. If you use a Center-Off SPDT youll have a middle position for the LEDs too and get three sounds.
There is an LED pulldown resistor on the board. All you need to do is connect the positive leg of the led to the PCB pad marked LED and then connect the negative leg to your 3pdt stomp.

SUCCESS! After giving up and thinking my breadboard was possesed, I finally got it working on breadboard! Time to tweak it a bit and get to boxing one up!
More to come once I play with it a bit...
