Well, I took the leap and ordered one of the four PGOD's in the second batch the Don put up this week.

I am super stoked. My first new BJFE in a few years (though I grab 2-3 Bearfoots a year!). It's joining my early HBOD, early SBEQ, and one of those original CS SYOD's that I had to join this board to get in on back in 2007!?! As well as a crap load of Bearfoots (of which my Teal Honey Bair Pooh and my PGCv1 Glow are my favorites... well and my Seahawk Blue and Seahawk Green Model G and SBEQ... and all the others!).

Super stoked. I've been backing off the gain pedals because I moved to midi controlled amp gain plus the SBEQ/PGC/HBOD (Suhr PT100- Fender clean, Plexi low gain, Plexi High gain, and a killer boost that adds a lead setting for each channel). But I've got a fill-in gig coming up for an up and coming band that plays like 90% backline so I am excited to throw this in the mix for pedalboard only gain rigs. Hoping that mid knob allows me to get a Marshall ish lead no matter the backline amp.

I think you will love it. I took my PGOD to a friend's house for a mini-tone fest and he was blown away by the PGOD.

Very cool...is this one of the "extra four" made, or one of the original 10? Nice looking Model D as well :)

Hi there, new board member here, having lurked around the edges for a while.

Love the look of these PGOD builds, missed the original run,but I'm seriously tempted by one of the ones in stock at the Bearfoot site.
The vids sound great but I'm hearing a lot of top end, really noticed it in the vid comparing the PGOD with the MH. To the guys that have tried the PGOD, could someone please post a clip with the T rolled back to hear how smooth the top end can get.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi there,

I shot this quick video for you, twisting the dials as I went along. I hope it helps a bit :)

Thanks for that...def sounds better to my ears with the T control rolled back. I'm more used to how my BF Model H sounds, 3K version so it's quite thick sounding.

Seems I've missed the boat now anyway as they're now sold out on the website. Snooze you lose eh. Need to keep my eyes peeled for one popping up 2nd hand.

Thanks again :)

No probs! :)

Bummer that they sold out, but they occasionally pop up for sale. There was one on UK eBay about a month or so ago.

Holy crap. This thing is everything I wanted the Dyna Red to be in 05, the Stone Grey to be in 2011, the Suhr Eclipse to be earlier this year. Huge gain but tight end, snarl for days, a versatile as can be.

I'm kind of in shock to be honest.
